After she gave birth to her baby, she was turned into a vampire as Edward swore that he will turn her into a vampire after her pregnancy. But their daughter, Renesmee, was not met with welcome from the other vampire clans because they fear that the half-vampire baby is an immortal child and she is a threat to the existence of the vampires.
